Hi, I’m Cherise!

 

I’m a hairstylist, makeup artist, and licensed cosmetologist with over two decades of experience in the beauty industry. I began working weddings at just 17 years old, and since then, I’ve had the honor of serving more than 35 bridal parties each year—helping brides feel confident, radiant, and absolutely beautiful on one of the most important days of their lives.

 

I use only high-end, professional products, including M.A.C,NARS,Anastasia,Benefit,Charlotte Tillbury and Makeup by Mario just to name a few. To ensure flawless, long-lasting, camera ready results.

From 2016 through 2026, I’ve been honored to be voted one of San Jose’s Top Makeup Artists by Expertise.com. I’ve also had the exciting opportunity to provide hair and makeup for multiple bridal photo shoots with Azazie—an experience that allowed me to blend artistry with high-level creative collaboration.

 

Continuing education is at the heart of my career. In 2011, I studied under Michael O’rourke, creator of Big sexy hair, an experience that transformed my perspective on both artistry and business. In 2012, I was hand-selected for advanced training with Babe hair extensions in Las Vegas—one of the greatest honors of my career. I continued refining my skills in 2019 with advanced balayage training with a 901 Salon stylist in Los Angeles. In 2024, I trained with a celebrity makeup artist here in the Bay Area, and in 2025, I mastered a new method of hair extensions to stay at the forefront of modern techniques. I’m deeply passionate about evolving with trends and consistently elevating my craft to bring my clients the very best.

 

When I’m not behind the chair or glamming up a bridal party, you’ll most likely find me getting in a workout at Orange Theory (I’ve done over 850 classes!), spending time with my husband Patrick and our daughters, Ireland James and Golden Summer, or planning our next getaway. I love traveling—especially to Newport Beach, San Diego and of course Aulani and Disneyland. And chances are, I always have a Starbucks iced Americano in hand! (Iced coffee is my love language)
